Positive Attitude is, trying different things, dont give up on yourself.
First I had to find some quotes that are positive and can make people’s day, For a example: May your trouble be less and your blessing be more. I also found some positive pictures.
Next I added some waves and changed the colour.
Lastly I enjoyed this task because it makes be happy, I did well on telling facts about positive attitude, I need to improve on adding more photos.
This week we did Volleyball. We learnt some new skills like, Digging, serving, sitting.
First I did a practice round with my partner. We did a serving where you throw the ball into the air and with your fingers then you throw it to your partner.
Then we played this game where you get into a circle and you pass it to people in the circle and count to a-z.
I enjoyed this task because I throwed the ball to my partner. I did well on Digging. I need to improve on sitting.
Today I learnt some new skills and new games.
First, we did chest passing. Where you need to get into a circle and pass the ball from the chest to the other person. The other team members need to make a line and run along a couple times.
Next, we did a relay race where you go under and over with the ball and pass it to the other person then you need to repeat it.
Lastly, we played a real game of netball. There were two defenders and two shooters. The rules to netball are that we can’t run with the ball and the defenders have to stay in their circle.
I enjoyed this task because I played netball. I need to improve on shooting. I did well on playing under and over.
I learnt how to evaluate texts.
First we read an article about a swimming pool. Crowds at the Chinese Swimming pool. We also found out reasons like if it is not dangerous or it is dangerous.
Then we thought about if it was crowded or not, if it was dangerous or it was safe, I choose dangerous or safe. I said It will be dangerous because you might fall down in the water and you will drown if you don’t have a floatie. If it was safe I would say, t is safe because there are floaties and if you fall down the floaties will not make you drown.
I enjoyed this task because I learnt how to evaluate. I did well on saying if it was safe or not safe. I need to improve on telling more about the Chinese swimming pool.
Today we learnt some netball skills. The rules are, no running with the ball, staying 1 metre apart when the person has the ball bouncing with the ball.
First coach put us into groups of girls and boys. There were 2 defenders, 2 shooters. While we were all playing netball the coach was setting up for the next game.
Then we played a game where there were non bibs & bibs. We had 4 balls in the a hoop. We each had to get the balls in the different hula hoop. We couldn’t run with the ball so we made a line and throwed the ball to each other.
Lastly we went into the hall and played jedi dodge. We needed to put the ball on the cone then the coach blowed his whistle. We had to grab the balls and throw it at each other. The jedi had pool noodles and had to touch the people that got hit by the ball.
I enjoyed this task because we played jedi dodgeball. I need to improve on throwing the ball. I did well on dodging the ball.
Today I did an SSR Selfie. The book I read is called Super-Freak.
First I read the book for 15 minutes. Then I tell who are the main characters in the story, And who is the author & illustrator.
Next I tell what has happened in the story so far. The story tells that Jacob, one of the main characters, Has a type of super power, an amazing super power.
Lastly, I chose 3 new words and their meaning to put on my SSR Selfie. I Also need to put a picture on my SSR.
I enjoyed this task because I leant how to read some more books. I did well on telling the three new words. I need to improve on telling more of what happened in the story.
This week I did an art design about whale tails. I needed to think of a design that represents about my whales tail that I did.
First I thought of a design I wanted to put on my whale tail. The design I picked was eyes & waves.
Then I needed to explain what my whale tale repesents for example. The white & black circles on my whale tail repesents the eyes of a whale. The lines repesents the waves of the sea or ocean.
Last the color I picked for my whale tail is blue,white and black.
I enjoyed making my whale tail. I did well on my art design. I need to improve on colouring faster.
My group and I learnt how to film our presentation about bees.
First we had to check our information to make sure there are no mistakes.
Then we practiced to get no mistakes for our video. For a example I say that what is the Bee’s Ecosystem.
Last we recorded our presentation. The presentation was a bit hard for me because I keepted on making mistakes.
I enjoyed this task beacuse I learnt more bee facts. I did well on recording. I need to improve on practicing.
I learnt how to use extended discussion cards for a book called sharks.
First we read the last two pages about the eagle rays and stingrays.
The questioner has to read the first question so they can tell the comperhender to answer the questioner. The comperhender needs to tell the answer for the questioner’s answer the comperhender has to have proof.
Next the Oposser has to has to always be wrong in case it is wrong. Last, we all agree who is right.
Last the clarifier tells everyone if they all agree or they will answer in their own words.
I enjoyed this task because I learnt some new facts about sharks like for example there are more than 1,250 species of sharks in the whole world. I did well on being the questioner. I need to improve on being a clarifier
I learnt what an sequenctial pattern is. A sequential pattern is a pattern that is in order.
First I needed to created a pattern. I created a shape pattern, colour pattern, object pattern, letter pattern, and number pattern. I also had to make some questions.
Last I needed to create an anwer page to the questions.
I enjoyed this task beacuse I learnt what sequetail patterns are. I did well on creating the answers page. I need to improve on doing this task on time.
